Hypha will be participating in DMDG’s 2nd European Biotransformation Workshop.

The purpose of this excellent online workshop is to provide a platform for biotransformation scientists to discuss topics of interest to them and the biotransformation community at large.

The first day will cover new modality drugs, e.g., oligonucleotides, peptides, antibody drug conjugates, etc. The second day will be devoted to small molecule biotransformation.

The small molecule focus topics include:

• 42 years of biotransformation in 45 minutes – Lars Weidolf (AstraZeneca)
• Modern perspectives on the historic QUAN/QUAL paradigm – a decade on, where are we now…? – Dan Weston (GSK)
• Applied In vitro assays to study the hepatic metabolism of low turnover compounds – Cross company (Boehringer, Bayer, Sanofi, Roche, Novartis) presentations
• Medicine Microbiome Initiative – Bernard Walther (Servier)
• Human ADME paradigm shift – Graeme Young (GSK)

There will also be discussions in breakout rooms on:

• Quantitation of metabolites and in vitro assays for compounds with low metabolic turn-over
• Future designs of human ADME studies and microbiome investigation
